We read the fine print so your vacation doesn't surprise you

99 Hotels reviews Westgate resorts and the theme parks around them (Universal's Epic Universe, Silver Dollar City, Anakeesta, Busch Gardens and more) and explains exactly how the famous $99 vacation packages work.

Those packages can be a great deal. They can also go sideways if you don't meet the eligibility rules or don't realize you're signing up for a sales presentation. So every page here puts the trade-offs right next to the price.

How we make money

We're a Westgate Resorts travel partner. When you book through our links, we may earn a commission. It doesn't change your price, and it doesn't buy a better score. See how we review and our disclosure.

What we won't do

• Invent first-person stays, guest stories or star ratings.
• Hide the 90-minute presentation, the age and income rules, or the surcharge for not attending.
• Quote prices without linking to where they came from.
