How the 99 Deal Score works

Each resort review ends in a score out of 10. It's an editorial judgment built from public, checkable facts, not a guest rating, and not something Westgate pays for.

The five things we score

  • Location: distance and transport to the parks, beach or Strip, as stated by the resort and official attraction sites.
  • Amenities: pools, water parks, dining, kids' activities and what's included versus extra.
  • Rooms: space, kitchens and how many people the package unit sleeps.
  • Package value: the package price against Westgate's stated standard price and the retail value of included tickets or gift cards.
  • Fine print: how strict the eligibility rules are for that destination, and any fees we can find.

Our sources

Resort facts come from Westgate's official resort pages. Ticket prices come from the parks' own websites. Eligibility rules come from Westgate's published terms and conditions. Each article lists the specific pages we checked, and we re-check prices when we update.

What we don't claim

We don't publish invented stays, fake reviews or aggregated star ratings we can't verify. When something isn't published, like a resort fee amount, we say so instead of guessing.
