For a family of four, Express at Epic Universe can cost more than the park tickets. Whether it's worth it depends on one number on Universal's calendar.
Up nextThe one number that tells you whether to buy it.What it costs
Universal sets Epic Express by date. Disney Tourist Blog tracked a range of $199.99 to $329.99 per person, and Theme Park Shark reports roughly $190 to $360 across 2026. Third-party sellers such as Attraction Tickets list it from $313 on some dates.
- Low-demand day, 4 people × $199.99
- $800
- Peak day, 4 people × $329.99
- $1,320
- Express alone, before park tickets
- $800–$1,320
Express prices vary by date. Park admission is separate.
What it skips
Epic Express gives one Express entry per participating ride, per Universal's store. It does not include park admission.
When it pays off
Check the price for your date. If Express sits near the top of its range, Universal expects heavy crowds and headliners will post long waits all day, so Express buys back hours. If it sits near the bottom, early arrival handles most headliners. See the Epic Universe hours and crowd guide for the arrival plan.
- Your date prices Express near the top of its range
- You have only one day at Epic
- Your group can't arrive before opening
- Kids won't handle long waits
